报告题目:Long Term Validation of an Accelerated Polishing Test Procedure for HMA Pavement 报告人:Prof. Robert Liang 时间:地点:2017年6月12日(周一)下午2:30 交通科技大厦601 报告人简介: Dr. Robert Liang received his B.S.C.E. from Tamkang University in Taiwan, Master degree from North Carolina State University, and Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley in 1985. Currently, he is professor and department chair at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at University of Dayton (UD). Prior to joining UD, he was Distinguished Professor of civil engineering at the University of Akron. He was a founding director of a joint Case Western Reserve University and University of Akron’s Center for Infrastructure Materials and Rehabilitation. Dr. Liang has been a PI or Co-PI for research projects totaling more than 17 M, encompassing research topics such as fracture mechanics and computational mechanics, risk assessment, corrosion induced structure degradation modeling, stochastic modeling, geotechnical engineering subjects, and infrastructure health monitoring and repair strategies, among others. He has co-edited six international conference proceedings on the subject of infrastructures and geotechnics, and authored and co-authored 110 peer reviewed scientific journal articles, 43 peer reviewed papers in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Geotechnical Special Publications, 120 conference proceedings and technical reports. He has served as Associated Editor for the ASCE Journal of Engineering Mechanics and ASCE Journal of Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Engineering. He is on the Editorial Board of four journals, including International Journal of Georisk, Journal of GeoEngineering, International Journal of Underground Space, and Journal of Civil Engineering. He was elected to the Fellow rank of ASCE in 2009. He has received several awards in the past, including ASCE Wendell Ladue Award from Akron/Canton section, the Luis Hill Award from the University of Akron, and the Outstanding Service Award from the Great Lakes Geo-Engineering and Geo-Environmental Engineering Conference Executive Council. |
